Who’s Making the Beads
The Ugandan women in the Banda district of the Acholi Quarters (just outside the capital of Kampala) are rebuilding their lives.
Pillars of strength and endurance, these women were displaced by the long-running military conflict in the North. Still, these entrepreneurial women produce paper beads in the Acholi quarters to improve their standard of living. By partnering with SSPP, they will also receive the materials to start their own businesses.
