Jahi is a graduate of Morehouse College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the creator and host of the Voice Radio Project, a community radio program for the Black college student community. He grew up in Prince George’s County, MD and is currently an education organizer with the S.T.E.P. (Success Through Educational Progress) Campaign in Washington, DC.
