Passionate about improving the educational outcomes of inner city students, Amber joined Teach for America after graduating from Spelman College in 2008. As a strong advocate for comprehensive early childhood programs Amber teaches Kindergarten at Friendship Public Charter School in Washington, DC. She is currently pursuing a Master of Early Childhood Education and Curriculum Instruction from George Mason University to be obtained in the Spring 2010.
